Mekong Grill in Ridgewood

Reminded me so much of Vietnam. Have traveled through Vietnam and the food here took me right back. The papaya salad is perfect and crunchy, all the pork was charred and delicious and the Vietnamese pancake was such a treat. Staff was friendly and I will be back

Friendly staff and amazing food

Excellent little place for dinner. We had the chicken pho and three beef pho and the lemon grass steak with fried rice. Everything was delicious. The pho was fresh and you could taste the flavor of the lemon grass on the meat but not overbearing. The restaurant is great for friends, couples and groups alike. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is in a busy town so I would include time to find parking if you're meeting up with friends.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food!

Every time I go to Mekong Grill, I fall in love with a new dish. My favorites so far are Shaken beef, Flat noodles, Pho and shrimp avocado roll. Excellent staff and comfortable place!

Real Vietnamese restaurant. You are going to have dishes you cannot have in others. Pho is super delicious!

As someone who has only worked here for a couple of weeks I can confidently say that I absolutely am in love with the food and staff. I started working here with little experience in waitressing and no experience in Vietnamese food. Fay and Thai, the owners, are amazing. Fay taught me very fast how to be a good waitress, never getting mad at me if I messed up or split something. Thai along with his siblings are excellent chefs.Every night I’m surprised with something new to eat for dinner, my favorites are C3 which is a marinated pork with fried rice, and M6 which is steak with fried rice, a salad, and sweet potato fries. The food here is always great no matter what. I highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

The food here is quite yummy! I really enjoy the coffee/presentation, and the staff was able to answer all my silly questions about food I haven't tried before. The prices are nice for the portion size. The only downside I would have is Ridgewood parking, but once you get used to that, this won't be an issue. Give it a shot!

Mekong Grill is amazing. The food is wonderful and the service is amazing as well. They serve one of the best phos and spring rolls I've ever had. I would highly recommend.

Really delicious clean food. We have tried many thing. Beef Pho is delicious, the broth is full of flavor and homemade. Hen with sticky rice and shaken beef are also delicious. Vietnamese crepe has a light taste, special texture unlike any dish I've ever tried. All these dishes are what keeps my family coming back.

Really good fare. The bread pudding is absolutely perfect.

Great menu, Excellent food and staff.

Great Vietnamese Crepe, excellent green papaya salad, only the half Cornish hens was disappointing that it was dried out and too small a portion. Better to make that dish with simply half a chicken, or with a whole roast squab... Would be a five star rating if not for the too dry hen.

The ambience is great

Excellent food. Pho is only above average. The lettuce wraps, and other Vietnamese food is excellent though. The place is a bit tight to bring young kids during dinner.

We have been there more than ten times since we moved to the area a couple of months ago. I;m pregnant, and just CRAVE their soups! Their Pho is excellent, as well as the other items on the menu, especially the green mango salad.

10/10 every. single. time. The ladies are all so very sweet. Everything is very clean and the food is amazing - always. I usually get the C3 with fried rice and fried egg. The Thai iced tea is perfect as is the fried tofu. If you haven't tried this place yet, you haven't truly lived.

Small cosy place, with very interesting food. loved it! Try the beef with steamed flat noodle.

Food is awesome, service fast and accurate and pricing in line with portion size and quality. Nice little restaurant BYO beer and enjoy some skillfully prepared Vietnamese food. BTW: They’ll put a fried egg on just about anything if you ask.

We love this place! The shredded chicken soup with rice noodles is the best I have ever had and perfect for a winter's night. It's a small space so make sure you make a reservation. So nice to see something different in Ridgewood.

We came to this restaurant for a meeting. we heard about this restaurant from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. the crew were so friendly and we felt excellent. The meal was fresh and delicious. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

Food was really good, hot shrimp pho for winter is great at lunch. The Mekong triple treat was also great, the shrimp, chicken and steak Vietnamese barbecue perfectly cooked and very tasty. Not giving five stars because the spring rolls had too much rice and lacking some of the traditional veggies you find in the authentic Vietnamese spring rolls. Definitely very recommendable!!!

This restaurant has extraordinary service as well as enjoyable food. One of my favourite spots around here. The meals arrived rapidly and the rates are reasonable. Recommended.
